Join this interesting program at the Niles Union Cemetery as local historian Wendell Lauthtakes you on a walking tour visiting grave sites and learning about the some of the prominent citizens that once lived in Niles. Included in the tour are the grave sites of President William McKinley''s sister, Abigail, his grandmaother, Anne Campbell Allison, Harry Stevens, the Harris Brothers, Pioneer families, and a famous murderer who committed his deadly crime on Christmas Eve in the late 1800''s.Please meet at the entrance to the Niles Cemetery at the corner of Niles-Cortland Rd. and Vienna Ave. It is recommenced that you wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a flashlight.For more information, please visit the Library or call 330-652-1704 ext. 212.
