Growing Up Kits
Growing up can be stressful and frightening for children.
The McKinley Memorial Library provides resources in the form of
"Growing Up Kits", which are groups of materials on topics related to
growing up to help children and their families to cope.
"Growing Up Kits" are available on the following topics:
- Adoption
- Babies
- Death
- Death of a Pet
- Divorce
- Fears
- Hospitals
- Moving
- Safety
- Self-esteem
- Starting School
- Step-families
- Toilet training
All you need to do to borrow a "Growing Up Kit" is place your request
and present your library card. Kits may be checked out for two weeks with no renewals.
