Community Outreach

Homebound Service Residential Delivery  

Due to the budget the Library is experiencing, the Warren-Trumbull County Library will be taking over our
Outreach Services. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Books and other library materials can be delivered to an individual's doorstep free of charge
throught this cooperative service provided by the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library
for its customers and those served by the Niles-McKinley Memorial Library and
the Newton Falls Public Library.

Individuals who qualify:

  • Physically handicapped
  • Visually impaired
  • Permanently ill
  • Temporary shut-ins

Materials available:

  • Books/large print books
  • Popular magazines including large print "Readers Digest" and large print "Guidepost"
  • Audio books on CD/Cassette
  • Talking book machines

Patrons may request specific titles ot Homebound staff can choose material for them based on their
special interests or favorite authors. Staff willl discuss preferences wiht the patron in order to better
meet their needs.

The schedule for Niles Homebound customers for the rest of 2009 is:

Delivery day is always Monday, and deliveries begin around 9:30 a.m.
